Trustees

The Sussex CSP Trust officially took over the partnership’s operations from its former host (University of Brighton) on 1 January 2008. The statutory governance of the Sussex CSP rests with its Board of Trustees. The chair is Dr. Sarah Gilroy who, along with other the board members, has been appointed to 30 June 2013. The first meeting of the Board of Trustees was held on 31 January 2008.

The role of the Board of Trustees is principally to ensure that the partnership operates within its Memorandum and Articles of Association, and to ensure that the necessary policies and procedures are in place to enable the Trust to comply with statutory company and charity regulations.

With a depth of skill and experience across the private, public and voluntary sport and health sectors, the trustees act as high profile advocates for the work of the Trust internally and externally.
