Active Sussex team

Michelle was appointed the Business Support Manager (formerly Operations Manager) for Active Sussex in 2002 as a key member of the Business Support and Senior Management Team.

The role includes: Being responsible for all operational issues related to the management of the CSP; Planning, implementing and monitoring operational systems in accordance with the Trusts’ Handbook, and ensuring effective and efficient service delivery across all areas of the organisation’s activities; Managing and monitoring the Trusts income, grants and sponsorships and being responsible for all payments in accordance with Trust policy and as directed by the Chief Executive; Providing line management for the Business Support Officer and coordinating support to the Trust - in relation to customer services, communication, publicity, the Trusts governing groups, events, projects and performance management processes; Sharing in organisational business planning as a member of the Trusts Senior Management Team; Ensuring effective team working in delivering general office support functions.

Michelle enjoys cycling, walks in the countryside, swimming, travelling, camping, visiting National Trust properties, meals out and socialising with friends.
