Active Sussex has created a selection of e-learning options through the National Skills Academy portal.

Safeguarding training for sports clubs

Tailored e-learning packages are available through EduCare for Sport, an online learning service providing an introduction to the Safeguarding children in sport.

Training is competitively priced, related to the size of your club. Annual club subscriptions cost £75 (small), £200 (medium) or £500 (large/unlimited).

Note: sportscoach UK’s course Safeguarding and Protecting Children is the industry recognised course needed to become proficient in safeguarding issues as a Welfare Officer or coach.
