About Rounders
Rounders England is the governing body for the sport in England and is supported financially through Sport England. A 4 year plan has been written to shape the development of rounders across the country.
Rounders England has recently appointed a Regional Rounders Officer for the South East region. They are responsible for providing more opportunities for people young and old to enjoy the game of rounders, whether through playing, coaching or volunteering.

Taster Sessions
If it’s been a while since you last played rounders and you’ve forgotten the rules, or if you are completely new to the game you may be interested in attending a rounders taster day.
The taster days are designed to reintroduce the game and the rules of rounders in a fun environment. They are a great way to meet new friends and reignite the passion for rounders.
The taster days are delivered over a couple of hours and can be tailored to the needs of the participants that attend. Qualified coaches and volunteers deliver the sessions and your regional rounders officer will be there to provide you with information on how you can stay involved.
More information about organised taster days in your area will appear shortly.
Leagues
There are over 40 adult leagues in the country at present. Your regional rounders officer will be working to set up local adult leagues in your area.
If you are interested in entering a league you will need to get a team together and contact your local league organiser. Adult leagues can be mixed, women only or men only.
A rounders team comprises of 9 players, however; there are small sided versions of the game available as well as an Indoor version.
