Squash and Racketball
About Squash
Squash is among the most popular and successful sports in England (Active People 2006). Racketball is an exciting new sport which can attract people of all ages and athletic ability. It’s complementary to Squash - it’s simple to learn, uses the same court as Squash and has very similar scoring. Both sports are extremely highly regarded in terms of efficiency of exercise and a “return on time invested” which is invaluable in a busy world. Games are played using point-a-rally scoring system, the winner of each rally scores a point whether or not they have served to start the rally, if the game reaches 10-all, a player must win by two clear points.
Players can be introduced to squash from 5 years old through the Mini Squash Programme which is delivered in schools and clubs.
