The Active Sussex Sport Makers programme provides new volunteers over the age of 16 with a free introductory workshop and matching service to connect them with sports vacancies within the county.

Active Sussex has appointed a member of staff to manage the Sport Makers programme locally. Roanna Simmons joined Active Sussex on 6 October 2011, working 18.5 hours per week Wednesday-Friday. Looking for volunteers?

If you are a club, NGB, organisation or event organiser looking for sports volunteers, please complete and return the Volunteer Opportunity Form, which you can download from this page. We will then promote your vacancies via our Sport Makers programme and enewsletter. Details will also be distributed to the relevant National Governing Body of sport, Local Authority sports development teams and local Volunteer Centre.
