Active Sussex Learning principles
We are creating a safe, supportive space where everyone can learn and contribute in a way that works for them.
Be kind and respectful: Value different backgrounds and perspectives and treat everyone with empathy.
Listen with curiosity: Ask questions to understand, and challenge ideas without making assumptions.
Share and make space: Contribute your experiences, but step back so others can be heard.
Participate your way: Engage as you feel comfortable – it is always fine to pass, pause, or take a break.
Keep stories private: Share the lessons, not people’s names or personal details. Safeguarding issues must always be reported properly.
Turn learning into action: Focus on how you can use what you learn to make a positive impact.
