Beat the holiday boredom with Freedom Leisure’s Summer Fitness Challenge
Back for a fourth year - Freedom Leisure's Junior Summer Fitness Challenge (JSFC) is encouraging youngsters aged 4-14 to be as active as they can during the summer holidays from 20 July - 5 September 2015.
Children taking part will receive a fitness diary to record their activities (each with 10 spaces to record the chosen activity which must be at least 30 minutes long).
On completion of their first diary, children will receive a free voucher for activities at their local Freedom Leisure centre, and another on completion of their second. An exclusive Junior Summer Fitness Challenge medal and certificate will be awarded on completion of a third diary (30 physical challenges).
It doesn’t matter whether it's playing football in the garden, cycling, skate boarding or even walking the dog – the important thing is to stay active!
Freedom Leisure are also looking for the most active school, so make sure you get as many of your school friends involved and the winning school will get a great prize.
Parents & guardians can register their children via the Freedom Leisure website.
