Professional Workforce

The professional workforce helps to recruit, develop, and retain a skilled, diverse sport and physical activity workforce.

The professional workforce has a major role to play in recruiting, developing, deploying, employing and retaining a skilled, diverse sport and physical activity workforce. Great leadership can help transform the workforce to deliver outstanding outcomes.

Active Sussex are proud to be an Employer Partner of The Chartered Institute for the Management of Sport and Physical Activity (CIMSPA). Click here to find out more about the CIMSPA partnership and how it can benefit your organisation.

Active Sussex supports the professional workforce by providing advice, support, insight and guidance, as well as the opportunity to attend forums and networking events.

Find out about some of the networks that are on offer to the Sussex professional sport and physical activity workforce on our Events and Networks page.

Sussex Primary PE Advisory Group

The Active Sussex Primary PE Advisory Group is made up of a selection of Sussex PE Subject Leaders from each of the nine School Games areas of Sussex. The group meets each half term to discuss current education themes and provide up-to-date primary school insight to ensure Active Sussex support is current and demand-led.
