- Present the opportunity to recruit instructors/personal trainers (Level 2) who want to work with participants with long-term health conditions and upskill them accordingly.
- Give new and existing instructors the opportunity to come together with other like minded professionals to share good practice and challenges.
- Improve instructor knowledge and understanding of the Sussex health system and key NHS priorities, and help make key connections with local health partners to improve the pathway and opportunities for people with long-term health conditions.
- Provide the opportunity for instructors to access funding for Level 3 and Level 4 qualifications to upskill themselves, enabling them to connect more effectively with their local health system and provide appropriate physical activity opportunities within their localities.
