Neurodiversity in Sport - Inclusion training for clubs and activity providers

When: Wednesday March 4, 6.30-8.30pm

Where: Online

Training for clubs and activity providers, coaches, welfare and safeguarding leads and anyone delivering sport and physical activity. Join us for an engaging and practical training session exploring how we can better support neurodivergent children, young people, and adults in sport.

With an estimated 15–20% of the population identifying as neurodivergent, it’s vital we create sporting environments where everyone can feel safe, included, and able to thrive.

This session, led by the Sport Welfare Project, will provide an overview of common neurodivergent conditions, the benefits of physical activity, and the challenges neurodivergent people may face when accessing sport.

You’ll leave with simple, effective strategies to adapt your coaching, communication, and environments to be more inclusive—whether you know someone is neurodivergent or not.
