UK Coaching – Safeguarding for Young Volunteers aged 13-15

Created by specialists in child welfare, this course is designed for young volunteers aged 13-15. It covers everything you need to know about safeguarding and child protection, making it a key part of your journey into volunteering.

You’ll learn how to spot and report any concerns, and who to talk to if you need help. Looking after your own well-being is just as important, so we’ll also guide you on where to find support.

Through interactive scenarios and discussions, you’ll explore what good coaching practice looks like and how to respond to any worries you may have. You’ll also have time to consider the impact of your actions in your own context.

By taking this course, you’ll gain the confidence and knowledge to protect both yourself and the children you work with. Start your volunteering journey with us and make a positive difference in sport and physical activity.
