Tackling Inequalities Fund
Sport England launched the Tackling Inequalities Fund to support people at greater risk of reduced activity due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Active Sussex distributes the fund in Sussex.
Workforce Investment Fund
Active Sussex invested Sport England’s Workforce Investment Fund into partner organisations in three inactivity hubs in East Sussex. Some targeted workforce investment is being made into Crawley in response to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Opening School Facilities Fund
Active Sussex targeted investment of £210,000 into around 50 schools in Sussex in Summer Term 2021 to aid schools to open their facilities for pupils on free school meals, or with Special Educational Needs or Disabilities, and the community as part of the recovery from the Covid-19 pandemic.
