Encompassing 44 schools (primary, secondary and special) in the area, Mid Sussex Active has survived and thrived the changes and challenges of recent years. Consistently high achieving across a wide variety of sport in schools, this is a partnership that has a strong track record and significant support of local clubs and community partners.
Mid Sussex is a strong sporting area, with good schools, community and club links. We benefit from being geographically located close to London and Brighton with many of our primary schools set in rural countryside. MSA has excellent working relationships with National Governing bodies, the County Sports Partnership and local coaches.
Part of the core staffing of the organisation known as “Mid Sussex Active” (MSA) the role will include the following responsibilities:
Perform the role of School Games Organiser.
– Increasing engagement in the School Games.
– Developing and enhancing physical activities for all.
– Increasing and Sustaining participation.
– Delivering on KPIs set by the National SGO network.
– Managing the additional participation programme of events and associated tasks.
The successful candidate will share the MSA vision to develop sport and physical activity for all.
They will be confident and driven with a proven track record in delivering excellence across PE and school sport.
