Meet Active Sussex trustee John Graddon

John Graddon joined the Active Sussex Board of Trustees in September and sits on the Governance & Audit Committee.

Here, we find out why he decided to work with Active Sussex and what he thinks would help encourage more people to be active.

Why did you want to become involved with Active Sussex?

I live in Sussex, and seeing people out and about being active gives me a real lift. I was intrigued and excited when I saw a way to get involved in promoting this more widely.

If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go?

South Korea seems like a fascinating place, and it would be great to go out and get lost there for a while.

What would you like to see changed to help encourage more people in Sussex to be physically active?

There are so many brilliant schemes and activities out there. I wonder if how we find out about them might be something to look at. Each programme or club might use different websites, social media, posters and word of mouth.  I sometimes think there might be a bit too much luck required to happen on that one activity that really works for you.
