Hit the Pitch is BaseballSoftballUK‘s national participation programme. It aims to introduce new players to baseball and softball in a meaningful, engaging and fun way. It can be tailored to suit your needs and is offered to you in three distinct though interrelated packages: Day, Team and League. The programme is aimed at a range of sectors including schools, universities, colleges, community groups and companies, as well as enabling existing clubs and leagues to grow their numbers. We are confident that one of these packages will help you to add new players, teams or a new league to your existing structure.
DAY – The Day programme is an ideal way of testing the waters to see if you and your other potential members would be interested in playing. It is offered in half-day and full day packages with everything included that you will need for a great day’s play including bats, balls, gloves and qualified facilitators to give you a really high quality experience.
TEAM – Once you’ve got the bug, the Team programme will support you in establishing your own team. It includes an online resource that will help you communicate with your players, have resources for sign up and also contains easy to use guides to the game. You can even pick your team name and order your team shirts through it!
LEAGUE – The League package takes you on a step-by-step basis through the process you will need to establish your own league. Through an online resource you will be able to share information with your teams about the league and will also allow you to schedule fixtures and establish league tables as well. It is a one-stop shop for everything that you will need to run your own league!
