Join us for an informative and empowering webinar focusing on Cancer and Physical Activity on Thursday 16th November from 12-1.30pm.
The webinar is designed for the Sussex Health Instructor Network but is open to any Sussex health instructors, fitness professionals and anyone interested in the intersection of physical activity and cancer management.
Book your FREE place using the form at the bottom of the page.
The webinar will give delegates the opportunity to find out more about the science of physical activity in relation to cancer, helping to improve knowledge and understanding of the relationship between cancer and physical activity. This engaging session will provide you with valuable insights, evidence-based knowledge, and practical strategies to support cancer patients and survivors on their journey to improved health and well-being.
Delegates will hear from two expert instructors with Level 4 Cancer qualifications and significant experience of working with people living with and recovering from cancer. We are excited for Dwayne Clevett from Cancer United and Cara Steven from Chelsea FC Foundation (previously delivering the Brighter Outlook programme in Sussex for Brighton & Hove FC Foundation) followed by the opportunity for further discussions in breakout rooms.
Within the breakout rooms delegates will be given the opportunity to share good practice/challenges of supporting people living with/recovering from cancer to move more, in a way that works for them.
Don't miss this fantastic opportunity to gain knowledge, expand your skills, and to contribute to the well-being of those impacted by cancer.
