🎥 RunningSpace – running to beat suicide
Our RunningSpace – running to beat suicide, video is now available for you to watch, replay and share!
Active Sussex have invested Sport England Funding into Rother District Council to build the workforce needed to engage inactive people. What coaches and clubs are needed to make this happen?
In focus: RunningSpace – running to beat suicide - the inspirational Sussex organisation that delivers Walk2Run groups across Sussex.
The groups help support people with long term health conditions including mental health conditions and they also deliver 'safeTALK Suicide Alertness for Everyone’ training.
RunningSpace builds on the Getting Rother Active programme run by Active Rother, supporting inactive residents to become more active. Active Rother provided the initial funding for several Walk2Run schemes within the Rother area and to support its sustainability, Active Rother has continued to support RunningSpace with funding for run leader training.
We take a closer look at some of the participants journey’s from inactive to active.
Watch and be inspired by this film.
