Women in Sport launch first ever Workplace Culture Survey

Categories: Active Sussex News Safeguarding and equality Sport Industry News

As part of it's campaign Beyond 30%, Women in Sport are urging the National Governing Bodies of Sport (NGBs) in the UK to broaden their focus from simply improving the gender diversity of their boards, to addressing diversity across their entire organisations and making wholescale cultural change.

Since March 2017, Women in Sport have been calling on the NGBs to move beyond the 30% target for gender diversity on boards and to implement broader change to encourage women into the business of sport and to support their development. This, the charity believes, will be for the benefit of the NGBs’ bottom line, the whole workforce and sports participants.

Workforce Culture Survey

As part of their Beyond 30% campaign, Women in Sport are now, for the first time, asking men and women working in Sport from field level to Board level to fill in a Workforce Culture Survey. It is open to everyone who works in the sport, physical activity and leisure sectors and is completely anonymous.

By taking part you can provide vital information - never collected before - that will help shape the future of the sector and make it a great place to work for men and women alike!
